GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JUNE 4, 2025: Victims of an Israeli strike on the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza were taken to the morgue of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital on Wednesday, June 4. Local sources reported fatalities and injuries following the attack, which reportedly targeted a densely-populated area. Medical teams responded swiftly to transport the wounded to the hospital, which is already overwhelmed by the influx of casualties. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive against Gaza since October 2023, killing over 54,600 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
