Speeding scooter hits passing pedestrian
This is the shocking moment a speeding scooter crashed into a pedestrian.
CCTV footage captured by Pinit Wongsricha shows the passerby holding an umbrella as he walks through an alley when the vehicle suddenly strikes him from behind in Samut Prakan, Thailand.
The victim can be seen tumbling headfirst onto the roadside, prompting nearby diners outside an eatery standing up in shock on May 31.
Moments later, the man slowly stands up, wincing and clutching his waist in pain.
He said he did not sustain any serious injuries, though he was left with aches and bruises from the fall.
