This is the impressive moment a clever stray dog carried cash to buy a skewer of meat from a BBQ restaurant.

Scarlet noticed the seemingly hungry brown canine wandering around an eatery in Yangon, Myanmar.

Moved to help, she offered to feed the dog on May 15.

Footage shows Scarlet handing a 100 Burmese Kyat bill to the dog.

The animal gently bit the money while wagging his tail before walking out of the shop. The stray then turned around, seemingly signaling Scarlet to follow him towards the barbecue stand.

When they reached the booth, the dog gave the cash to the worker, who then took a meat skewer and handed it to the animal.

Visibly stunned, the kindhearted lady handed over another bill when she realised the money she gave the dog was not enough.

Scarlet said: 'One of the workers in the diner told me that the dog was trained to use money in exchange for food. I was curious, so I tried it myself.'
