Los Angeles, United States - June 05, 2025 06/05/2025 10:50 am GMT-0700 SAN FERNANDO, Calif. – Firefighters responded to a structure fire Thursday morning on the 600 block of North Maclay Avenue, located behind a beauty salon. Upon arrival, crews discovered a two-unit dwelling fully engulfed in flames. The fire displaced seven people and one cat, who are receiving assistance from the Red Cross. The San Fernando Building and Safety Department, along with local utility companies, was notified to address structural and utility concerns. One firefighter was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a minor hand injury, but no civilian injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
