Lebanon - June 06, 2025 IDF attacked underground sites for the production and storage of UAVs and a drone manufacturing workshop in Dahiya and southern Lebanon A short time ago, the IDF conducted targeted strikes using fighter jets on UAV production sites and storage facilities used by the air unit of the Hezbollah organization (127) in Dahiya, Beirut, and southern Lebanon. The air unit has carried out over 1,000 explosive and intelligence-gathering UAV missions targeting Israeli territory during the conflict. Despite the agreement between Israel and Lebanon, the organization's air unit continues to engage and enhance its capabilities. The unit is working to produce thousands of UAVs under the guidance and funding of Iranian elements, as part of Iran's efforts to harm the State of Israel. Over the years, Iran has been funding and directing activities in the project, in collaboration with Hezbollah. Hezbollah operatives travel to Iran and are trained for the independent production of UAVs in Lebanon. The IDF has identified that Hezbollah operatives continue these activities even after the agreement took effect and is determined to act against trained in Iran for terrorist purposes. Additionally, the IDF attacked a drone manufacturing workshop in southern Lebanon used for attacks, intelligence gathering, and improving the observation capabilities of the Hezbollah organization. Prior to the attack, measures were taken to minimize the risk of civilian harm, including the use of precision munitions, aerial observations, and additional intelligence information. The targeted infrastructure was located in the heart of a civilian population. This is another example of the cynical use by the Hezbollah organization of Lebanese civilians as human shields. The activity at these sites constitutes a blatant violation of the agreement between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF is prepared for both defense and offense, will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens, and will prevent any attempt to rebuild the Hezbollah organization.
