Phoenix, United States - June 07, 2025 06/06/2025 10:15 pm GMT-0700 APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. – According to the DPS, A trooper observed a pink Dodge Charger driving at a high rate of speed eastbound on the I-10 near 7th Street. The trooper tracked the vehicle at a safe distance as the Phoenix Police Department helicopter responded to the area. The suspect transitioned onto the Red Mountain Loop 202. The Phoenix Police Department helicopter arrived overhead as the suspect approached Scottsdale Road. The trooper activated his lights and initiated a traffic stop on the Charger when it began to flee. Once felony flight was established, the trooper deactivated his lights and fell back to a safe distance as the helicopter tracked the car. The suspect exited the L-202 and drove through the cities of Mesa and Apache Junction. As troopers and units from various other agencies were determining a plan to stop the suspect, she drove into the Central Arizona College Superstition Mountain Campus and crashed into the desert. The female suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
