US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Investigation Ongoing After Man Found Deceased in Roadway
Bakersfield, United States - June 07, 2025 06/07/2025 02:42 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Bakersfield police officers responded to a report early Saturday morning of a man lying in the roadway at the intersection of 11th and H streets. The man had reportedly been assaulted by unknown individuals. Upon arrival, officers performed CPR chest compressions on the victim. This lifesaving effort continued until personnel from Hall Ambulance and the Bakersfield Fire Department arrived on the scene. Hall Ambulance staff announced the victim was deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and police have closed traffic in both directions on H Street and 11th Street.
