The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 54,927, with 126,615 others injured, since the conflict between Hamas and Israel erupted on Oct 7, 2023,according to Gaza's health authorities on Monday. Over the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks have claimed 47 Palestinian lives and injured 388 others, the report said. Since March 18, when Israel intensified its military campaign after a brief ceasefire, the total death toll has risen to 4,649, with 14,574 individuals injured.
