A dive-bombing buzzard that forced a primary school to stop its pupils from going outside over safety fears has now been spotted trying to break into HOUSES, footage reveals.

The video, filmed by Havering-atte-Bower resident Nick Woodgate on May 20, shows the bird of prey land on a nearby window sill and then attempt to fly at the closed window multiple times.

Nick and his partner Yvonne can be heard wondering if the buzzard is "alright" when it circles its wing backwards, but it soon flies off, landing on the roof of the house opposite."

The buzzard is then seeminly attacked by magpies and crows as it defends its perch.

Residents of the village near Romford in East London have been 'living in fear' for months after a buzzard began swooping down on residents at the end of March.

The bird, often referred to as "Brenda", has even forced primary school pupils in the village to stay indoors at break time for weeks."

Brenda is believed to be part of a mating pair and is defending her nest in Havering Country Park.

However, a Havering Council spokesperson has said intervention options are "very limited" as buzzards are protected under UK law."
