PEOPLE CARRY BODY OF DECEASED FOR BURIAL (TWO SHOTS)GAZA, PALESTINE - JUNE 10, 2025: The body of journalist Mumin Abu al-Awf, killed in an Israeli army attack on the Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza, was carried from his family's home in Al-Shati Refugee Camp on Tuesday for funeral prayers. Al-Awf's body, alongside those of three healthcare workers who perished in the same assault, was then taken from Sheikh Ridan Clinic in northern Gaza for burial. His grieving relatives expressed profound sorrow during the proceedings. The Israeli army, rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a brutal offensive against Gaza since October 2023, killing nearly 55,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
