Titled "La Baleine" (The Whale), the Pavilion has already drawn thousands of attendees since the conference began on June 9. Through immersive simulations and multimedia displays, participants can engage with the Digital Twin of the Ocean, a near real-time virtual model that tracks marine conditions and forecasts future scenarios. The installation is part of the Green Zone at UNOC3, co-hosted by France and Costa Rica from June 9 to 13 to promote ocean literacy and support Sustainable Development Goal 14 on marine conservation. Held in the Green Zone at the Palais des Expositions, the Pavilion offers an interactive experience, allowing visitors to explore advanced digital tools for ocean conservation, including real-time data from the EU’s Copernicus Marine Service and cutting-edge AI-driven modeling. Organized around three key themes—INSPIRE, ENGAGE, and DECIDE—the exhibition highlights how satellite observations, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling contribute to sustainable ocean management. France and Costa Rica co-host the five-day conference, which aims to boost global efforts toward Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water). Running until June 13, the Pavilion underscores Europe’s push for digital solutions in marine conservation, fostering international cooperation in protecting the world’s oceans.
