Bakersfield, United States - June 10, 2025 06/10/2025 12:00 pm GMT-0700 PEORIA, Ariz. – Several federal agents with HSI and Border Patrol converged on a Peoria neighborhood near 69th Avenue and North Lane (major cross 67th Avenue and Peoria Avenue) shortly before noon. Agents were seen removing at least one detained suspect from a home as well as multiple pieces of evidence. Peoria Police officers responded to the area to provide traffic and crowd control. Dozens of protesters assembled on the east side of the scene. At approximately 12:30 pm, shortly after federal agents left the area, tensions among protesters began to rise. Several physical confrontations occurred between protesters and Peoria Police, leading to the arrest of at least one demonstrator. The protester was quickly ushered to a patrol vehicle as the crowd began to swarm the arresting officers. Street medics were seen administering first aid to at least one protester with an apparent ankle injury.
