Aerial footage shows a group of holidaymakers enjoying a ride on an inflatable float shaped like a red convertible car.

Baibua Phrom and her friends, all wearing life vests, boarded the car-themed inflatable boat at a beach in Chonburi, Thailand.

Five beachgoers can be seen seated comfortably inside the float as it glides smoothly across the water, giving the illusion that a real car is cruising on the sea on May 28.

Baibua said: 'It doesn't feel like a banana boat. It's more like sitting on a couch, it gets really bouncy when it hits the waves. There's no body strap, but there are handles to hold onto.

'It's safe because it just surfs with the waves and it won't capsize. Compared to a banana boat, I think this one's even more fun.'
