A model was left with a horrifying 'trout pout' when her lip filler treatment triggered a severe allergic reaction.

Kittiya Menaruji, 27, wanted to achieve the Kim Kardashian look but suffered a painfully swollen mouth after receiving the cosmetic procedure at a beauty clinic.

She had her cheeks, chin, and lips injected, but her mouth began to balloon alarmingly just hours after the treatment in Bangkok, Thailand.

Footage shows Kittiya displaying her grotesquely bloated lips in a selfie video as she bemoaned the failed beauty treatment.

The online personality, who likes to show off her hourglass figure in revealing outfits on her social media, said she was furious at the clinic over what she believed was a botched procedure.

Her doctor offered her free treatment, dissolving the fillers and administering antibiotics until the swelling subsided after five days.

Kittiya, who is a social media influencer and model for car stores, said: 'It took one week for my lips to shrink and two weeks for my face to return to normal, but it didn't feel 100 per cent the same. My skin felt tight and damaged.'

However, when she went to get fillers at a different place, she suffered the same results.

The shocked Thai woman said she then realised she was having allergic reactions to the fillers themselves.

She said: 'At first, I blamed the doctors and the clinics until I realised that I was allergic. I got injections from two different places and doctors. I've tried three different filler brands and had allergic reactions to all of them. So I'm not criticising the products. Reactions like this really just depend on the individual.'

Kittiya spoke about her ordeal on June 9.

She said it happened around a year ago, but she had only just summoned the confidence to speak out.

She added: 'I sharing my experience as a warning to other young women who want to undergo similar beauty enhancement procedures.

'In the end, every woman wants to be beautiful, but I will not be getting fillers anymore. I'm too scared. But I still want to be beautiful like before.'
