This is the hilarious moment a tourist swinging over a lagoon accidentally dragged a guide into the water.

Samantha Kaye Agudo attempted to 'walk' in the air while clinging to a rope at Cambugahay Falls in Siquijor, the Philippines.

However, she lost her grip mid-ride and plunged into the pool on June 7.

Footage shows the nearby attendant grabbing her just in time, preventing her from falling onto the rocks below.

The pair dropped into the water and waded towards the bank.

Samantha did not sustain any injuries from the comical mishap.

She said: 'I attempted the fairy walk trend twice. I managed to do it successfully on my first try, and it felt great to accomplish it. But on my second attempt, I failed, possibly because my grip wasn't strong enough.'
