This is the heartwarming moment motorists helped a tuk-tuk driver after his vehicle lost a tyre on a busy road.

The motorist was driving along the highway when one of the wheels suddenly detached from the three-wheeler in Bangkok, Thailand.

The incident prompted passing locals to assist in removing the tuk-tuk from the middle of the motorway on June 6.

Touching footage captured by onlooker Prawit Hongthong shows the loose wheel bouncing toward the roadside while the driver appears visibly distraught, scratching his head in disbelief.

Moments later, three kindhearted men stopped and climbed off their motorcycles to push the tuk-tuk to safety.

The driver then retrieved the wheel and placed it inside the vehicle before approaching the motorists to thank them.
