Libya: Libyans welcome Maghreb Resistance Convoy in capital Tripoli with joy

Locals flocked to Martyrs Square to welcome the convoy, holding Palestinian flags in their hands. Following the arrival of convoy with activists from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania, the welcoming ceremony turned into a demonstration of support for Gaza. The demonstrators chanted slogans like "Our lives and blood are sacrificed for you, oh Al-Aqsa,"Where are the Arab nations?" and "Palestine is free, Zionists get out," carried banners that read "No to the killing of children." Locals gave treats to participants of the convoy. The convoy left the area to join the main group continuing its journey toward the city of Tajoura. The Maghreb Resistance Convoy reached its first stop in Libya, the city of Zawiya, yesterday. The convoy, which includes around 2,000 activists from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania, arrived in Zawiya, its first destination in Libya. Numerous Libyan activists also joined the convoy in Zawiya, which consists of approximately 120 vehicles and 12 buses.
