-PARIS, FRANCE - JUNE 11, 2025: South Korean software startup VTouch has unveiled the "Wizpr Ring" at the VivaTech fair in Paris, a wearable device that enables voice-based interaction with artificial intelligence. The smart ring connects to a mobile app powered by AI platforms such as ChatGPT and allows users to switch between multiple AI models. "It can understand all languages," said Seokjoong Kim, co-CEO of VTouch, highlighting its potential to bridge communication gaps between speakers of different languages. The Wizpr Ring allows users to run other applications, send voice messages or engage in conversations with AI assistants. The ring comes with an integrated microphone system that enhances voice detection in noisy environments, a common limitation of smartphone-based AI tools. According to Kim, the Wizpr Ring is set to go on sale by the end of June, with shipping to the U.S. and Europe expected in August or September.
