France: Tesla unveils autonomous Cybercab at VivaTech 2025 in Paris
...PARIS, FRANCE - JUNE 12, 2025: Tesla on Thursday (June 12) unveiled its new fully autonomous vehicle, the Cybercab, at the VivaTech 2025 technology conference in Paris. The Cybercab, which drew significant attention from attendees, features no steering wheel or pedals and is designed to operate fully autonomously. The matte gold-colored vehicle has the capacity to carry two passengers at a time. Tesla is expected to introduce new models in the coming years that will accommodate more passengers. The company plans to start mass production in 2026 of its "Cybercab" – a car without a steering wheel, specifically designed for robotaxi use. Tesla has been testing its robotaxi service with employees in the Bay Area of California since last year, with safety drivers ready to intervene if needed.
