VARIOUS OF BODIES BEING CARRIED IN VEHICLESGAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JUNE 12, 2025: Israeli army attacked a group of Palestinians heading to an aid distribution point in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, June 12, according to local sources. The assault reportedly killed seven people, whose bodies were later brought to Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Relatives of the victims expressed deep sorrow as funeral prayers were held for those killed in the attack. At least 55,207 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry said on Thursday. The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 4,924 people and injured 15,780 others, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
