This is the terrifying moment a python was found curled up between garden pots in Thailand.

Footage shows the sinister beast nestled between the plant containers in Phitsanulok on May 8.

Brave resident Namnile approached the serpent and grabbed it with a hand wrapped in cloth. The enraged reptile hissed as she then removed it from its perch.

Namnile said: 'I can catch snakes, and I'm even better at catching monitor lizards.'

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
