This is the dramatic moment a fight erupted inside a gold jewellery shop in Cambodia.

Footage captured by a passerby shows a group of men in white shirts brawling with staff from a neighbouring restaurant in Siem Reap.

Employees at the accessory store can be seen hurling metal folding tables at workers wearing red collared shirts.

Moments later, the altercation escalated when one of the restaurant employees doused the group with a fire extinguisher inside the jewellery shop.

At the same time, his other colleagues threw an aluminium basin from the diner, hitting a white subcompact SUV parked roadside.

The fight ended with the gold store lowering its automatic barricade as the enraged employee walked away, still clutching his used extinguisher.

No injuries were reported from the encounter.
