DETAIL OF SIGNS ABOUT WILDLIFE CROSSINGCALIFORNIA, US - JUNE 12: The Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing, currently under construction in Agoura Hills, California, is set to become the largest wildlife crossing in the world. It will span the U.S.-101 Freeway, connecting the Simi Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains. The crossing, which will be covered with vegetation, aims to provide a safe passage for mountain lions, deer and other wildlife. This is expected to reduce the risk of roadkill and promote genetic diversity among isolated animal populations. The project is considered one of the most ambitious infrastructure and conservation efforts underway in Southern California. Writing by Nur Zeynep Dukmen
