...PARIS, FRANCE - JUNE 14, 2025: Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched through the streets of Paris on Saturday (June 14) to show solidarity with the people of Gaza and denounce Israel’s military actions in the besieged enclave. Carrying Palestinian flags and wearing keffiyehs, protesters chanted slogans including “We are all Gaza’s children,” “Free Palestine,” and “Israel is a murderer, Macron is complicit.” The rally, organized by French trade unions and activist groups, called for an end to what demonstrators described as Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza and demanded unrestricted access for humanitarian aid. During the rally, speeches were delivered by French-Palestinian Member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan, as well as French activists Baptiste Andre and Reva Viard from the Madleen aid ship. The Israeli army, rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a brutal offensive against Gaza since October 2023, killing nearly 55,300 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
