VARIOUS OF SMOKE RISING FROM TARGETED AREAS HAMEDAN, IRAN - JUNE 14: The Israeli military carried out a series of attacks in Iran’s Hamedan province on Saturday, with explosions reported in the Asadabad area, according to local sources. Air defense systems were also activated in the cities of Tabriz and Isfahan amid the strikes. Earlier, Iranian anti-aircraft defenses responded to Israeli attacks in the capital Tehran and the port city of Bandar Abbas, with local media reporting loud explosions. Israel confirmed the new wave of strikes, escalating tensions between the two nations. Since the confrontation began on Friday, Israel has targeted Iranian nuclear and missile facilities, killing senior military officials and scientists. Iran’s UN envoy stated that at least 78 people have been killed and 320 wounded in the attacks. In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that continued Israeli aggression would be met with a "stronger and more decisive" retaliation.
