US, Los Angeles: Downtown Los Angeles LAPD Takes Curfew Violators Into Custody
Los Angeles, United States - June 16, 2025 06/15/2025 10:00 pm GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Central units responded to reports of a large gathering of individuals on Broadway between 3rd and 4th Streets in downtown Los Angeles. Officers arrived at the scene where a party was taking place. As the situation developed, partygoers and others in the immediate vicinity were taken into custody for violating the city’s curfew, established after violence erupted during last week's ongoing protests against the presence of ICE agents in Los Angeles. Additionally, nearby officers observed a man walking down 3rd Street toward Broadway while carrying a gun. He was also taken into custody.
