This is the intense moment Thai and Filipino ladyboys clashed in a turf war over tourists in Bangkok.

Footage shows a group of Thai transgender women attacking two foreign trans sex workers on the Soi Sukhumvit 11 street on June 9.

The attackers - all of them biologically male with accompanying strength - were seen pulling the victims' hair and kicking them multiple times as they sat helpless on the ground.

Three of the Thai suspects allegedly ganged up on one victim dressed in black, with one smashing a traffic cone on her head.

One of the people involved, Sky, 31, claimed she was on her way to meet her boyfriend when four Filipino transgender women confronted her, reportedly saying: 'Why are you standing here?'

Sky responded that they were in Thailand and questioned their authority to drive her away.

Feeling outnumbered due to her smaller build, she called her friends, leading to a violent altercation.

She alleged the Filipino group had been insulting her and her peers for two months, and on the day of the fight, attempted to push them out of their usual spot to solicit customers.

Sky added that while she intended to 'teach them a lesson,' she told her friends not to hit the women's faces out of sympathy, recognising their appearance was vital for their work.

Following the fight, both groups left the scene, and Sky claimed the Filipino group had not returned since.

The incident has reignited tensions in the area. On March 3 last year, a mass brawl erupted between Thai and Filipino sex workers outside a hotel on the same road.

Prices for picking up a ladyboy from the streets of Bangkok vary between 1,000 Baht (22.67 GBP) and 2,000 Baht (45.33 GBP).

They are one of the biggest draws to Thailand for male tourists from India, the Middle East and Europe.
