Surprise Under the Hood: Wild Rabbit Found Inside Car Engine in China
On June 8 in Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, a driver pulled over at a roadside repair shop after noticing unusual engine sounds. When mechanic Mr. Hao opened the hood to inspect the problem, he was shocked to discover a wild rabbit quietly curled up inside the engine compartment.
According to Mr. Hao, the car owner had no idea the rabbit was there. The rabbit remained completely still until Mr. Hao gently removed it and placed it on the ground — at which point it sprang up and quickly hopped away.
Further inspection revealed that the car trouble was caused by the rabbit chewing through some internal wiring. The issue has since been repaired.
