This is the terrifying moment a truck knocked branches from a tree, sending them crashing into the car travelling behind.

Pramote Huakhon Amphawa, 48, was driving along the road when the lorry struck a low-hanging branch in Ratchaburi, Thailand.

Dashcam footage shows the broken wood falling directly in front of the vehicle behind on the afternoon of June 15.

In another clip, the four-wheeler can be seen rolling over the fallen branches, scattering debris across the motorway as a motorcyclist passes by.

The impact damaged the front bumper of Pramote's car.

Pramote said: 'I was too afraid to deal with the truck driver directly, so I submitted the footage to his insurance company to claim compensation.'
