Exclusive- How to Train Your Dragon screening turns into AMC Theaters chaos
Join us as we recount the unforgettable experience at the early screening of "How to Train Your Dragon" at AMC Theaters! What was supposed to be an exciting movie night turned into a series of unexpected events.
As we arrived at the theater, we quickly realized that the air conditioning was malfunctioning due to a power outage the previous day. With a packed auditorium and no cool air, we all settled in, eagerly waiting for the movie to start. However, 25 minutes after the scheduled time, the screen remained blank, and confusion began to set in.
A guest entered the auditorium with alarming news: an employee reportedly stated that the movie was canceled. This drove us all to the guest service center, hoping for a refund. While approaching the concession stand, I spoke with a manager who clarified that the movie was indeed playing in Theater 12. Surprised and relieved, we rushed back to our seats.
However, the chaos didn't end there! Once back, the film began but, unexpectedly, in 3-D instead of the promised 2-D format. Just when we thought things were settling down, the power went out again about 45 minutes into the movie, plunging us into darkness.
Ultimately, the theater staff handled the situation and provided us with movie passes, ticket refunds, and even a movie poster as a gesture of goodwill.
Watch the video to relive the rollercoaster of emotions, from anticipation to frustration, and finally to relief.
