US, Los Angeles: Simi Valley SpaceX Starlink Launch
Los Angeles, United States - June 17, 2025 06/16/2025 08:26 pm GMT-0700 SIMI VALLEY, CALIF. – SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 26 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This marked the third flight for the first-stage booster that supported this mission, which had previously launched two other Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which was stationed in the Pacific Ocean. Residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties had the potential to hear one or more sonic booms during the launch, although their experiences varied based on weather and other conditions.
