When the skies opened up, Matt Martinez didn’t let a little rain stop him from walking to pick up his daughter from school. Living nearby, he figured they could share an umbrella, but Mother Nature had other plans.

As the downpour intensified, Matt did what any devoted dad would; he handed the umbrella to his little girl, choosing to walk home soaked so she could stay dry.

I live close to my daughter's school, and I thought it would be a good idea to walk to pick her up while it was raining. The rain turned out to be too much for us both to be protected under the umbrella. I sacrificed the umbrella to her, so she could stay try.
