On the afternoon of June 18th, a sudden downpour hit Nanzhao County in Nanyang, Henan Province, causing a sharp increase in rainfall over a short period and resulting in severe water accumulation on some roads.

A female driver accidentally drove into a flooded area, and her vehicle was quickly submerged by rising rainwater. As the water level rose rapidly, the car doors became stuck, trapping the woman inside. The situation was extremely urgent.

In a panic, the woman called Wang Zhipeng, a representative of the Nanzhao Wuling Auto dealership, for help. Realizing the severity of the situation, Wang Zhipeng immediately decided to lead a rescue effort with his team.

Within five minutes of receiving the distress call, Wang Zhipeng, along with employees Song Jianbang, Wang Yuhao, Feng Haiyang, and friend Li Hecai, arrived at the scene. Disregarding their own safety, they waded through approximately 60 meters of floodwaters to reach the stranded vehicle. By that time, the water level had nearly covered the car windows, and the situation was extremely critical. Without hesitation, they used window-breaking tools they had brought with them and forcefully smashed the window.

Once the window was broken, the rescuers outside the vehicle worked together to pull the trapped woman out. She was so frightened and physically weakened that she couldn’t walk, so Wang Zhipeng carried her out of the flooded area. Shortly afterward, police arrived on the scene and took the woman safely home.

Thanks to the rescuers' swift and courageous actions, the woman was safely rescued and sustained no injuries. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the rescuers.
