US, Los Angeles: Boyle Heights Woman Seriously Injured After Being Trapped Between Train

Los Angeles, United States - June 19, 2025 06/18/2025 09:49 pm GMT-0700 BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an incident on the Metro Gold Line at the intersection of 1st Street and Anderson Street. Firefighters arrived to find a 50-year-old woman trapped between a train and the platform. The woman was quickly extricated, and paramedics transported her to an area hospital with serious injuries. No one else sustained injuries during the incident. All other occupants of the train were safely removed while officers investigated the situation.
