Walker feeds fresh limpets to stray cat on beach in China
This is the heartwarming moment a beachgoer fed fresh limpets to a stray cat on a beach in China.
Mr Zhou was combing through a beach when he encountered the friendly white and black feline in Dalian, Liaoning Province.
Footage shows the Good Samaritan prying limpets clinging tightly to the rocks using a hand rake, while the feline stood nearby on May 16. Once he opened the cone-shaped mollusc, he offered it to the cat, which immediately started eating.
He said: 'The cat followed me closely because it was hungry. So, I ended up digging up molluscs on the rocky shore for the kitty.'
He added that it took him three hours to collect enough for a small bucket of limpets, but he dug up a bit more to feed the cat before continuing his beachcombing.
