Elderly man crashes through elevator door on tricycle and falls, fortunately survives without life-threatening injuries."
On the morning of June 12, in Jiangsu Province, China, an elderly man was driving an electric tricycle when the vehicle suddenly lost control and accelerated. It crashed through the elevator car doors, causing both the man and the tricycle to fall into the elevator shaft.
People nearby heard the loud noise and rushed over to check what had happened. They called emergency services for help.
Rescue personnel arrived in time and pulled the elderly man out. He suffered multiple fractures but, after emergency treatment, is now out of danger.
