Balata - June 19, 2025 As part of Operation "Iron Wall" in northern Samaria, Israeli forces from the Samaria Brigade, in coordination with Shin Bet and intelligence units, carried out a targeted raid in the Balata area of Nablus. Acting on precise intelligence, forces destroyed four lathes used for the production of improvised weapons and explosive devices, and seized two additional machines. According to the IDF, these manufacturing sites served as key infrastructure for militant activity in the region. The operation was conducted in cooperation with special units from the Israel Prison Service. Security forces stated they will continue efforts to prevent the spread of weapons production and ensure the safety of Israeli citizens and communities.
