Storyline: Despite high tensions in the Iranian capital Tehran amid the ongoing military conflict with Israel, basic public services -- including electricity, water, and gas -- have remained stable. Supermarkets are still stocked in the capital, but internet service across much of the country has been severely disrupted, with only intermittent mobile access reported in some areas. In the wake of Israeli airstrikes since June 13, including one that reportedly targeted Tehran on Wednesday, fears over potential escalation have taken a psychological toll. Streets in the capital appear quieter than usual, with residents significantly limiting their outdoor activities. Many residents have left major cities such as the capital, relocating to the country's north and east, where conditions are seen as relatively safer. Iran's central bank announced that it is providing liquidity support to bank branches facing cash shortages. The bank said there are currently no systemic issues in currency supply or distribution.
