US, Los Angeles: Fontana Recycling Yard Fire Prompts Major Response
Los Angeles, United States - June 20, 2025 06/19/2025 11:02 pm GMT-0700 FONTANA, Calif. – A recycling yard filled with miscellaneous scrap, cars, and cardboard caught fire Thursday night shortly after 11 p.m. The fire was located at the intersection of Arrow Route and Lime Avenue. A cloud of smoke could be seen from many miles away. The California Highway Patrol was on scene assisting with the traffic control. The incident prompted a significant response from multiple fire stations to control the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
