US, Los Angeles: Paramount Commercial Fire
Los Angeles, United States - June 20, 2025 06/20/2025 01:11 am GMT-0700 PARAMOUNT, Calif. – A commercial structure fire was reported on the 14000 block of Garfield Avenue. Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from what appeared to be a vacant recycling yard. Crews faced difficulties as the fire caused the roof to become soft, creating a dangerous situation. Flames crept into the facade, complicating access for firefighters. It took approximately 40 minutes to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
