Direct action group Youth Demand block Waterloo Bridge in call for the British government to stop arming Israel
Direct action group Youth Demand, who campaign against arms sales to Israel and new fossil fuel licences, descended on Waterloo Station after the National March for Palestine this afternoon (June 21).
Following the station action, the group marched onto Waterloo Bridge, setting off smoke flares as the expressed solidarity with Palestinians.
Dozens of police officers arrived, issuing a Dispersal Order for the group.
