The strikes injured at least 23 people in Israel, most with light injuries and one in moderate condition, according to Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth. Israeli public broadcaster KAN reported damage to a building in the Greater Tel Aviv area, with several other structures along the coastal region destroyed in direct hits. In a statement, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the country reserves the right to defend itself against what it called “US aggression and crimes committed by the rogue regime,” referencing earlier attacks on Iranian nuclear sites. The situation in the region further deteriorated after US President Donald Trump announced Sunday that American forces carried out "very successful" airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites, amid growing fears of a broader conflict in the region.
