An elderly man living in Tehran, capital of Iran, recounted the moment when he was injured as he tried to escape from a massive explosion in an interview with China Global Television Network on Saturday. Abbas, an Iran-Iraq War veteran, said he was scared when he suddenly heard the explosion. On June 13, Israel launched airstrikes on Iran, targeting senior military officials, nuclear scientists, and civilians. In response, Iran has continued to retaliate with missile and drone strikes on Israeli locations.
