Los Angeles, United States - June 22, 2025 06/22/2025 01:30 am GMT-0700 GREEN MEADOWS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire at the intersection of Avalon and Century boulevards. While en route, the call was upgraded to a traffic collision involving one vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, crews found a Ford Mustang engulfed in flames after colliding with a pole and a pickup truck that had crashed into a tree further east on Century Boulevard. The two occupants of the truck were transported to the hospital by LAFD in unknown condition. The status of the Mustang's driver remains unclear. Additionally, the Los Angeles Police Department's Southeast Division received reports of shots fired at the location. This incident may have been related to a street takeover occurring at the time.
