Los Angeles, United States - June 23, 2025 06/22/2025 06:55 pm GMT-0700 LANCASTER, Calif. – On Sunday evening, two Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies from the Lancaster station were traveling east on Avenue J in a marked patrol vehicle. As they entered the intersection at 140th Street East, a burgundy pickup truck collided with the side of the patrol vehicle, causing it to spin out of control and overturn. The deputies were temporarily trapped inside the vehicle but were later freed by responding units. The driver of the burgundy pickup truck underwent a full sobriety test at the scene; however, it is unclear if drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision. The condition of the deputies remains unknown.
