Israel: Iran’s missile observed over Tel Aviv, Israel
SHOTLIST TEL AVIV, ISRAEL (JUNE 24, 2025) (ANADOLU-ACCESS ALL) 1. VARIOUS OF TRAILS LEFT BY MISSILES TEL AVIV, ISRAEL - JUNE 24: Iran carried out multiple ballistic missile strikes against Israel early Tuesday, prompting air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and other cities as a ceasefire came into force at 0400 GMT. The Israeli military reported that Iran fired 11 missiles in six waves targeting Israeli territory in the hours leading up to the truce. Footage showed projectiles streaking across the skies over Tel Aviv, Israel’s commercial capital, while explosions were also reported in central Israel and the southern city of Beersheba, where a rocket struck a residential building. According to Israel’s emergency medical service, at least six people were killed and 15 wounded, some critically, in the Beersheba attack. The halt in hostilities was first announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, who stated that the truce would be implemented in phases: Iran would cease fire first, followed by Israel 12 hours later, with a full cessation of hostilities declared after 24 hours. Both Iranian and Israeli media confirmed the ceasefire had begun, with Iranian outlets describing it as taking effect after the "final salvos" of missile launches. However, Israeli officials remained silent on the matter, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly instructing ministers not to comment publicly. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority and military radio had earlier cited the ceasefire’s implementation.
