US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Police Respond to Railroad Robbery Without Arrests
Bakersfield, United States - June 23, 2025 06/23/2025 03:00 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif – Numerous individuals were observed breaking into rail cars on the railroad tracks north of N Street and 14th Street. Hundreds of crates, which appeared to be from Amazon, were thrown onto the tracks from the rail cars. Witnesses reported seeing people scavenging through the crates and walking away with Amazon packages. Bakersfield Police responded to the area but did not make any arrests. Despite the police presence, the suspects continued to take additional packages off the tracks over a three-hour period.
