A driver was waiting for his friends in a parking area when one of his mates mistakenly pulled open the door of the red hatchback in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dashcam footage shows two men approaching the vehicle on June 20.
When one of them looked inside the passenger seat, he was shocked to find unfamiliar faces, leaving him momentarily confused.
Realising the mistake, he quickly shut the door and hit his face in embarrassment as his friends burst into laughter at the comical mishap.
