Mr Li captured the serenity of the Thousand Household Miao Village, which sits on a natural basin in Qiandongnan, Guizhou, on May 4.

The houses feature a uniform design, with black brick roofs and brown walls that resemble wooden exteriors.

The village's architecture reflects the traditional ancient Chinese towns, as mist gently hovers over the landscape, complementing the towering, lush hills in the background.

The Thousand Household Miao Village, located in Xijiang, is the largest Miao ethnic village in the world, featuring over a thousand traditional wooden stilt houses nestled along a scenic mountainside.
