Angry monkey attacks parked car then fights off driver
This is the shocking moment an angry monkey attacked a parked car and fought off a driver.
The terrified driver had parked her black Honda sedan along a roadside in Lopburi, Thailand, and returned to find the primate on top of her vehicle.
Footage shows the macaque removing a rubber seal from the rooftop of the four-wheeler on June 15.
This prompted the car owner to try scaring the animal away, but it became aggressive and almost lunged at her.
Fearing that the monkey might hurt her, she kept a safe distance while trying to shoo it away again.
She said: 'I was so shocked when I saw the monkey ruining my car. After some time, I eventually managed to get it off.'
Monkeys, like other animals, may attack when they feel threatened. Risks from monkey bites include serious wound infections, the herpes B virus, and rabies.
